Domaine de Chaberton Estates winery

The first of the Fraser Valley Wineries opening in 1964 and one of the most successful. The Violet family has been making wine since 1644. Claude Violet is the 9th generation winemaker. With Claude's guidance, the expertise of the winemaster, Dr. Elias Phiniotis, and the gentle microclimate, long sunny day Domaine De Chaberton produces some very fine wines. The white wine varietals are grown in the Fraser Valley with additional acreage planted in red varietals in the "golden mile" in the Okanagan Valley.
