Jazz up your side dishes
(NC) - Just because they've been branded side dishes, doesn't mean you can't turn your vegetables into the star of the meal. Take the upcoming holiday season to look for new ways to turn your sides from dull to delicious; from a must eat to a can't get enough of. Try:
• adding chopped pecans to your brightly steamed beans, zucchini or greens for an added crunch
• roasting a medley of vegetables, like sweet potatoes, sweet onions and zucchini for a healthy and colourful alternative
