Healthy snacks for kids
(NC)—Send your kids back to school with snacks that add variety and satisfy hunger between meals – but don't spoil their appetite. Nutrient-rich foods such as fresh fruit or vegetables (an apple or handful of carrot sticks) and dairy foods (a yogurt cup or small piece of cheese), are considered healthiest. But don't limit yourself – or your child. There are plenty of other nourishing alternatives to chocolate bars, candy and pop.
