Mushroom sauce
Preparation time: 40min
Cooking time: 5min

Ingredients:
50g dried Chinese mushrooms
175ml water
6 baby onions
2 anise stars
3 tbsp soy sauce
pinch of salt
1 tsp cornflour

- Cover the mushrooms with hot water and leave for an hour. Remove mushroom stems and cut the caps. Slice onions lengthwise
- Put the mushrooms into a saucepan, add the water which they soaked in, anise and soy sauce. Cook until the mushrooms become soft, add onions and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes
- Mix flour with 1 tbsp of water and add some hot sauce. Pour the mix into the sauce constantly stirring. Take anise out and serve.
